A SAFETY FEATURE THAT
SAVES YOU MONEY

A flat spot on a tire will occur within 200 feet of drag.
A dragged tire has lost its circumference and the
torque specs of the wheel would be unsafe due to the
stress on the hub, studs and the rim.

A wheel rotates 489 revolutions within a
distance of a mile. The heat generated by tire rotation
could add stress to the other mechanical parts of the
wheel assembly, making it an unsafe tire on a moving
trailer. This could be one of the reasons why trailers
are losing their wheels.

Hand painted tires on trailer require the driver to
perform 180 degree swing left to right to check his
tires, making it unsafe. Hand painted tires, do not look
professional and defaces the look of the fleet. (Zebra
look)

A Government test of the SKIDDD Indicator was
performed in the United States and Canada for a
period of 18 months. The drivers felt comfortable with
the SKIDDD Indicators which were clearly visible
when viewing from their truck mirrors.

We feel that these indicators would be a reliable
safety feature on all trailers and rigs. There are numerous
vehicle accidents on our highways involving
semi-trailers because there isn’t many safety
prevention devices on the market.
